Aikiou – Stimulo Activity Food Center

We have carried Stimulo in our store for some time, and I don’t feel it gets enough “press”. There are so many treat dispensing toys for dogs, but us kitties, we get bored too!!

The Stimulo has a fairly sturdy base on it, and comes with different sized treat tubes that can be swapped out to make the toy easier or harder (harder being the longer tubes).

Soooo many indoor cats are under-stimulated, and overweight. Feeding them in their activity center makes them work for their food and feeds their “hunting” instinct. Free feeding (leaving food out all day) has so many negatives – using the Stimulo twice a day for meals is an excellent alternative to free feeding! The neatest thing is those tubes all have measurements inside them so you know how much food you are feeding! This product is also a “Made in Canada” product.

Wally and Stuey are raw fed, so we use the Stimulo for treats. Today, we used those yummy Holistic Blend Chicken Passion Treats from our previous blog! Stuey comes over to investigate!

Stuey isn’t as “clever” as Wally, so he takes a few minutes to get into it. Wally knows what to do right away!

Stuey sits back and lets Wally play. Wally goes right for the deepest tubes to get his goodies!

HOW MANY MEOWS? The Stimulo Activity Food Center receives 4/5 Meows! My only complaint is that when feeding treats in the center, they empty the tubes out quickly and the fun is over soon. However, if my cats were fed dry food, I really believe this would be a longer lasting, very fun and healthy way to feed them!

If you visit our Copperfield location, you will find them hiding in the toy section!

Holistic Blend – Chicken Passion Treats

Wally and Stuey are very excited to review their first product! Holistic Blend Chicken Passion Treats! Chicken Passion Treats are made in Canada and contain ONE ingredient only. Freeze dried chicken breast. Nothing else! They are a great size, good texture, very few crumbs in the bag. They must smell good too – check out Stuey…

As you may have noted, this particular bag of treats has a few holes in it. My bad boys are to blame for that one!

Wally approaches the treats and as you can see he has a paw ready to knock it over! And Stuey is positioned to do the same!

He successfully knocks the bag over and proceeds to sink his teeth into the bag while a curious Stuey tries to catch a whiff of that yummy chicken-y goodness!

He’s got a good grip now!

Check out the holes!!

HOW MANY MEOWS? Holistic Blend Chicken Passion Treats get 5/5 Meows! My cats love these SOOO much we have to lock them in our fridge! The dogs that visit us at the store love them too and they are suitable for cats AND dogs!! Low calorie, and super healthy. Can’t go wrong with these ones!

Available at some Tail Blazers locations. If you visit our Copperfield location, you will find them hiding in the supplement fridge!

Meet the Testers!

Hey cat lovers – stay tuned! We will be reviewing all kinds of products for you and your feline! I have over 5 years of experience in the retail pet industry and I have tried it all! I have two Bengal beauties waiting to test all of the interesting products we can throw at them! (not literally of course!)

Meet Wally. Wally is my very handsome 4 year old Bengal boy. Wally likes raw food, dry food, but won’t touch many canned foods. He likes some toys, but in typical cat fashion is relatively fussy!

Meet Stuey. Stuey is my social butterfly and he is a 3 year old Bengal boy. Stuey likes raw food, canned food, but won’t touch DRY food. He likes interactive toys, and not a big fan of most treats. He’ll be a real test – if he likes a treat – it’s sure to be a hit!

We will rate all of our products out of five meows. So, “how many meows” will your favorite product receive?

Welcome to our blog! Be sure to visit our sister site “how many wags?” where we review canine products.
